Unleash Your Inner Artisan: Forge a Unique Silver Ring for an Unforgettable Hen Party in Dublin!
Looking for a hen party activity in Dublin that allows for individual expression and results in a truly personal keepsake? The forge your own silver charm workshop in the dublin city centre studio is a great hen party activity for your group to embark on a delicate yet rewarding creative adventure.
Make a charm, from a variety of shapes. Use the entirety of the
silver square provided, with the added bonus that two charms
can often be made – one for them, one as a gift!
Once made they can be added to a current chain or bracelet, or
else purchased from the shop at a trade price.
Outline of Workshop:
- Participants will learn the basics of metal smithing, this includes:
Stamp out your shape of choice- this can be a shamrock, heart, flower, star, diamond or circle - File it using a hand file
- Apply emery paper
- Practice some textures on a sheet of brass first then add some textures to the charm(s)
- Stamp in an initial if chosen
- Watching a hole being drilled in it, and then they add the bail added
- Watching it being polished on a polishing motor to their chosen finish – matt or shiny!
Please note: Maximum 10 people per private group in one workshop so your will be in different groups.
