Unleash Your Inner Sculptor: Carve a Unique Wax Ring or Charm for Your Dublin Hen Party

Looking for a truly hands-on and creative hen party experience in Dublin? Silver Works offers a fantastic “Carve Your Own Wax Ring or Charm” workshop that allows you and your bridal party to design and sculpt your very own piece of wearable art!

Participants will carve out their own wax ring on the day and will learn the ancient art of lost wax casting in a fun, creative workshop environment.
The wax ring will then be sent off to be cast into sterling silver.
The Participants will receive their newly cast sterling silver ring
back two weeks later with their desired finishes.

Outline of this workshop:
Participants will learn the basics of wax carving, this includes:

• Piercing ( using a hand saw ) to cut away wax parts
• Re-sizing their wax rings
• Observing the methods of carving wax whilst the process is
  explained by the expert teacher
• Filing the ring using different size hand files
• Adding texture to the wax ring using burrs and drill bits
• Watching how their ring will be cleaned up once cast on a
  polishing motor to their chosen finish – matt or shiny!

Please note: Maximum 10 people per private group in one workshop so your will be in different groups.
